Ms. Mogavero is a certified Library Media Specialist and Biology teacher. She enjoys spending time outdoors surfing, biking, and hiking with her rescue dog, Mako. Her favorite type of literature is Science Fiction and she is a fan of Marvel Comics, especially Spider-Man. She attended Boston University for her undergraduate degree where she was a member of the lacrosse team. She also holds a Master's of Science in Curriculum Development and Instructional technology and a Master's of Science in Library and Information Science from SUNY Albany. She enjoys helping students find books they enjoy, chatting about tv shows and sports, and working to support students across many classes.

How long can I check out a book for?
Check out time is 2 weeks with the option of renewal.
What happens if my book is returned late?
JFK is a no fine school. You may receive an email reminding you to please return your book but you will not be penalized for lateness.
What if the resource I need is not available at the JFK library?
If you are unable to find the full-text of an article needed for research you can request it via an InterLibrary Loan (ILL) by contacting Ms. Mogavero via email. Please include as much information as possible, including (if applicable):

2. Title/Author(s)
3. Date of Publication

The newly renovated JFK Library is full of resources to help support you in your personal and academic goals. The library provides flexible seating and work areas for both independent or group work, database access for research, a large-screen TV with school news and events, computer workstations, chromebook and printer access, charging areas, and more.
